Do you have any nicknames?
Abz.
At what age did you start playing table tennis, and what first attracted you to the sport?
I started playing when I was almost 10.
How long have you been a member at Draycott, and what brought you to the club?
Since I started playing so 6 years.
Who or what has been the biggest influence on your table tennis career?
My parents, and coaches at both Draycott and Uxbridge.
Who is your favourite table tennis player?
Ning Ding because she has a cool name ;) She has very good serves and is very quick and attacks well for all parts of the table.
What do you enjoy most about the sport?
Improving attack play, and learning new skills then beating better players.
If you could change one thing about the sport, what would it be?
Nothing.
Do you have any table tennis superstitions or rituals when/before you play?
Not really, but I think I play better when I wake up early.
What are your ambitions for the future in table tennis?
To play in the England team regularly and be ranked in the top 3.
What do you get up to outside of table tennis?
Just in Sixth Form now, taking BTEC Sport double, Human Biology and Psychology. I also play in the school football team and rounders team, and go on yearly skiing holidays. I am also getting my table tennis level 1 coaching award and my higher sports leader award.
