Coronavirus Update 29th JUly 2020

Hi Everybody,

As you will all know we are still waiting for the green light to be able to return to playing table tennis in the Club. This is clearly NOT going to be on 4th July when some other restrictions are lifted within the country and although everyone is hoping we can start back in mid-July. This has NOT been confirmed therefore we cannot start back until Table Tennis England, Sport England and the Government say we can.

As our Club Chairman Dave Greaves stated in his announcement this past week we have been doing a lot behind the scenes at the Draycott Table Tennis Centre to get it ready for when we can return.

I have posted a video on the Club’s Facebook page showing how the Club will look on returning to play using the Table Tennis England Stage 2 guidelines.

Taking advice from Table Tennis England we the Club has appointed Jo Green in the role of Covid Officer and Jo will ensure that we follow all the TTE and Government recommendations and will head the Committee Team that looks after this along with completing the Covid Method Statement and Risk Assessment.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon.

 Best Wishes and stay safe
